Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney was effusive in his praise of the Tigers following their second scrimmage of the Spring, Wednesday. Swinney was clearly pleased with what he saw from his team heading into the Easter break and said it was the best day of Spring practice, so far.
Swinney singled out Cade Klubnik for additional acclamation, saying the second-year quarterback “has been awesome.” Swinney continued, “I love what I’m seeing out of him. His command, his buy-in every day.”
Swinney was also pleased to report that the team is getting healthier and “starting to get a few guys that have been banged up back” ahead of next Saturday’s Orange-White Game. Swinney is looking forward to the big day and encouraged Clemson fans to pack the stadium. “We need a great crowd here. We need some energy and excitement. There’s going to be some recruits here …. so let’s make it a great day in the Valley.”
The Tigers annual Spring Game is scheduled to kick on April 15th at 1 p.m. Admission is free.
