Aliyah Boston is off to the WNBA (Travis Bell/SIDELINE CAROLINA)

Friday night the season for Aliyah Boston ended in Dallas when South Carolina lost to Iowa. Saturday afternoon Boston’s career with the Gamecocks officially ended when she announced she will not return for another season and will enter the WNBA Draft. Boston is considered by some analysts as the potential first pick in the draft.

Boston will leave USC as one of their most prolific players ever. She was part of one national championship team and played in three Final Fours. A potential fourth appearance was wiped out by Covid cancellation.

Boston started all 138 games in her career. She averaged 14 points, 11 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game for her career. She shot 55% from the floor and 76% from the foul line. And during her career, the Gamecocks were 129-9 on the court.
