


There’s been no news on Greenville High OG Blake Franks since he passed on making a decision between USC and Clemson last month. Franks has not talked to any media since February and hasn’t taken any more visits since junior days at USC, Clemson and Auburn in January. But reportedly, that will change this week. Wes Mitchell of GamecockCentral reported Monday Franks is expected to visit USC Saturday to watch a spring practice. Franks apparently has gone back and forth between USC and Clemson in his decision making process. If he does make the Saturday visit, that could be a sign that closure is not far off.
Paul Strelow of TigerIllustrated reported on some visitors to Clemson Saturday who had not been previously revealed. Those players were OT Daniel Calhoun of Marietta, GA and OT Jameson Riggs of Hiram, GA.
USC Monday offered OT Michael Uini of Copperas Cove, TX. Uini visited Clemson for their junior day Saturday.
WR Micah Gilbert (6-3 203) of Charlotte visited Clemson Monday. The Tigers have not yet offered. He does have an offer from USC.
Riverside DT Marcus Downs said he will visit USC this week. He went to Wake Forest in January and to Tennessee earlier this month. He is scheduled to visit Georgia Tech April 1st.
Two USC basketball players are back on the market after entering the NCAA Transfer Portal Monday. According to reports, center Tre-Vaugh Minott and forward Ja’Von Benson, both career reserves, will be looking for new homes.
According to Stockrisers, Sunday USC coach Lamont Paris going met with Wofford transfer 6-8 BJ Mack. Coaches from LSU and Florida were also in for a visit. Mack was first team All-Southern Conference this season. He averaged 17 points and 6 rebounds per game this season.
Clemson showing interest in St. Francis transfer 6-6 Tedrick Wilcox Jr. according to Stockrisers. He averaged 11 points and 4 rebounds per game this season.
Clemson has had contact with 6-2 North Carolina A&T transfer Justin Wright according to Stockrisers. He’s a two-time All-MEAC performer who averaged over 16 points and 5 rebounds per game this season.
2025 6-8 Sadiq White of Charlotte was offered by USC. He averaged 15 points and 7 rebounds per game this season as Myers Park won a state championship in North Carolina.
Former Dorman star guard Myles Tate is transferring from Butler after three seasons. He was a high school teammate of Clemson forward PJ Hall. With the Bulldogs, Tate played in 57 games and averaged 4 points and 1.4 assists per game. He missed most of his sophomore season with a torn ACL.
6-2 Tahlik Chavez of Charleston Southern is transferring. He averaged over 11 points per game this season.
