
Clemson Monday landed their second commitment from a Georgia defensive prospect who was in Saturday for their junior day. SAF Noah Dixon (6-2 175) of LaGrange made his pledge public on his Twitter page. He follows DT Champ Thompson of Norcross who announced his commitment late Saturday night.
Dixon camped at Clemson in June not long after being offered by the Tigers on June 1st. He was also at Clemson for a visit in mid-May. He did not make it to Clemson for a game last fall, but he did take in the Clemson vs Georgia Tech game in Atlanta to kick off the season.
Dixon also visited Georgia in January for a junior day and was at Georgia for a visit in May. He visited Georgia Tech the weekend of January 21st for their junior day.
Some of his other offers were USC, Notre Dame, Auburn, West Virginia, Michigan State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Georgia, Arkansas, Michigan, Texas A&M, Alabama, Stanford, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss.
According to MaxPreps, last season Dixon was in on 40 tackles. He also plays receiver and had 18 catches for 248 yards and three touchdowns.
Dixon is the fifth commitment for Clemson’s 2024 recruiting class.
