Following Sunday’s commitment from Woodland OT Kam Pringle, another major USC target in the 2024 class is set to make his commitment announce Tuesday around noon. TE Michael Smith (6-4 225) of Savannah narrowed his list to USC, Ohio State and Arkansas. The Gamecocks were the first to offer Smith and he has visited three times including the Georgia game and once in mid-December. He also visited Ohio State for a game in September. Last season Smith caught 24 passes for 601 yards and 12 touchdowns. As a sophomore he caught 48 passes for 684 yards and nine touchdowns. Smith would be the Gamecocks’ third commitment for their 2024 class, with a possible fourth looming on Friday in LB Wendell Gregory.

PK Peyton Argent of Hoover, AL plans to join USC in the fall as a preferred walk-on. This past season Argent was 11-12 on field goals with a long of 43 yards. He was named All-State.

CB Charles Lester plans to be at the Clemson junior day Saturday. He’s had a top five of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Ohio State and Florida State.

Clemson target RB David Eziomume will be in for the junior day this Saturday.

Clemson target OT Blake Frazier was offered by Texas.

Clemson target CB Omillio Agard visited Penn State Saturday and will be at Clemson this Saturday.

USC is included in the top 14 with SAF Kamron Mikell of Statesboro, GA. The others on the list are Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Georgia Southern, Florida State, Duke, Ole Miss, Colorado, East Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Vanderbilt and Cincinnati.

SAF Jarvis Boatwright of Clearwater, FL named a top five of USC, Florida State, UCF, Tennessee and Florida.

USC target LB Wendell Gregory was offered by Southern Cal.

USC offered OT Mike Williams of Upper Marlboro, MD while he was in for the junior day Saturday.

USC offered 2026 DB Nassir McCoy of Buford, GA. Michigan also offered Monday.

USC offered 2026 QB Julian Lewis of Carrolton, GA.

OT Jordan Floyd of Lilburn, GA made it to USC Saturday for their junior day.

Class of 2026 LB Michael Boulware of Spring Valley visited USC Saturday.

LB Jeremiah Holmes of Durham, NC committed to The Citadel.

LB Christopher Benton of Haines City, FL committed to The Citadel.

OT Marion Corey (6-4 285) of Loganville, GA committed to Coastal Carolina.

The Citadel offered River Bluff RB Cooper Johns.

USC offered 6-4 Morris Ugusuk and 6-4 Okku Federiko of Omnia Basketball Academy in Finland according to the Academy.
