#Clemson DE KJ Henry announces for the NFL Draft

For the second time in as many days, a key member of the Clemson defensive line announced his plans to enter the NFL Draft and not return for the 2023 season. Defensive end KJ Henry made disclosed his plans Wednesday afternoon one day after defensive tackle Bryan Bresee announced his intentions to enter the Draft.

Henry was the most veteran member of the Clemson defense having played in 63 games over 5 seasons. In his career, Henry totaled 124 tackles with 28 tackles for loss and 13 sacks. He also deflected 13 passes and recovered 3 fumbles.

This season was Henry’s most productive at Clemson with 51 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and 6 pass deflections.

Henry is the second defensive end from Clemson to announce for the draft following Myle Murphy who opted out of the bowl game.
