Five Clemson players scored in double figures as the Tigers defeated Benedict 91-45 Wednesday night at Littlejohn Coliseum in their final test before opening the season next week. Hunter Tyson led the Tigers with 19 points. Ben Middlebrooks knocked down an even dozen while Josh Beadle and Chauncey Wiggins added 10 points each.
The Tigers will open their season at home Monday night against The Citadel.
