Tennessee vandalized the Palmetto State again in recruiting. The Vols, when good, have always been able to come into South Carolina and pull away talent from USC and Clemson. Sunday afternoon Josh Heupel landed a commitment from WR Mazeo Bennett (6-0 165) of Greenville. The Gamecocks were the major in-state contender for Bennett. He did not include Clemson on his short list. Bennett made multiple visits to USC during the recruiting process, as he did with Tennessee. His most recent visit was to Tennessee for the Florida game earlier this month and that experience seem to move the needle toward the Vols. Bennett is coming off a four-touchdown performance Friday night in a win over Pickens.
