#STRecruiting Notebook 10-6

6-11 Jordan Butler of Christ Church Wednesday announced a commitment to Missouri over USC and Auburn. He took official visits to all three.  The USC visit was in August, the Missouri visit was September 16th.  Missouri’s lead recruiter with Butler was at Florida State last season when his brother played for the Seminoles.  Last season Butler averaged over 14 points and 8 rebounds per game.

6-4 Austin Swartz of Concord, NC, who visited Clemson last Saturday and was offered, will visit Georgia this weekend, Virginia Tech on the 17th and NC State after that. He has also visited USC and Appalachian State this fall.

2024 6-4 KJ Greene of Atlanta, who visited Clemson last Saturday, plans to visit Georgia this Friday. He has an official visit to Georgetown set for October 13th.  He’s also been USC and the Gamecocks, like Clemson, have offered.

2024 6-4 Cam Scott of Lexington has set an unofficial visit to Duke for November 30th per Jamie Shaw of On3. He will go to Tennessee unofficially October 15th. He has official visits set with USC October 21st, Auburn November 11th and Texas November 25th.

6-6 Jermaine O’Neal Jr. of Dallas, the son of the former Eau Claire and NBA star is a rising prospect in the 2025 class. Tennessee just offered and he also has SMU and Missouri offers among others.

South Florence QB LaNorris Sellers said he’s still locked in with his Syracuse commitment and he’s talking with coaches from there about every other day. He has taken his official there and is planning a return visit for the Notre Dame game. His only game visit this season was to USC for Georgia State. He continues to receive text messages from the Gamecocks who have not yet offered. He recently was offered by Coastal Carolina. This season Sellers has passed for 800 yards and 13 touchdowns and has rushed for 500 yards and 9 touchdowns.

CB Tyler Scott of Mableton, GA, who decommitted from Arkansas State last weekend, continues to hear from USC secondary coach Torrian Gray, and he considers them one of his top schools. The Gamecocks offered him late last month. He has not visited USC yet but hopes to take an official visit with them. He also has Tennessee, Vanderbilt, UCF and Kentucky among his top schools, and he’s going to visit Alabama unofficially this Saturday. He also visited Auburn last month. Wednesday night he landed an offer from Virginia Tech. Scott said he won’t make a decision until the early signing day on December 21st.

2024 OT Jake Guarnera of Ponte Vedra, FL, who is on the board at Clemson and USC, was offered by Missouri. He visited Clemson last weekend.

2024 OT Jordan Floyd of Lilburn, GA, who is drawing Clemson interest and visited for a game last month, will visit Alabama Saturday.

2024 WR Debron Gatling of Alpharetta, GA, who is drawing Clemson interest, plans to visit Alabama Saturday.

USC and Clemson target 2024 SAF KJ Bolden of Buford, GA plans to visit Alabama Saturday.

Clemson and USC target 2024 OT Fletcher Westphal of Leesburg, VA was offered by Florida. He visited Clemson last weekend.
