Coach Norvell expressed his excitement for the upcoming season and let it be known that he is fully in favor of the upcoming 3-5-5 conference scheduling format (starting 2023) that will serve to pit the two best ACC teams against each other in the title game. Norvell also addressed the high expectations that come along with coaching Florida State and said that last season served as a good foundation. Former Gamecocks defensive back Jammie Robinson, who transferred to Florida State before the 2021 season, also represented the Seminoles and fielded questions from the media.
