#STRecruiting Notebook 2-1 (UPDATED)

OT Sam Pendleton (6-4 274) of Pfafftown, NC Tuesday morning named a top five of Clemson, NC State, Virginia Tech, Michigan and Penn State. Pendleton visited Clemson, Virginia Tech and NC State last Friday thru Sunday. He visited Michigan and Penn State during the last football season. He has said he would like to make his decision the end of this month or in early March.

Clemson target LB TJ Dudley of Montgomery, AL will sign Wednesday at 4:30 PM Eastern.

Clemson target RB Keith Adams Jr. of St. George, UT will announce his commitment tomorrow at 1:40 Eastern Time. USF, Air Force and Marshall are the other schools under consideration. He visited Clemson last weekend.

Clemson target DT Caden Story of Lanett, AL will announce his decision Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM Eastern. He has Clemson, Florida and Auburn as his finalists. He visited Florida last weekend.

Clemson target RB Andrew Paul of Dallas will announce his college decision Wednesday at 12:20 PM Eastern. He is down to Clemson and Georgia. He visited Georgia last weekend.

Daniel QB Trent Pearman is headed to Clemson as a PWO.

USC target RB Treyaun Webb of Jacksonville was offered by Jackson State.

USC target RB Daylan Smothers of Charlotte visited NC State Sunday.

OL Zachary Martin of Pee Dee Academy committed to Newberry.

ATH RJ Brunson of Calhoun County will announce Wednesday morning at 8:45. He has offers from Wofford, SC State, Newberry, Limestone, Lenoir-Rhyne, North Greenville and Savannah State, and a PWO offer from USC.

USC target SAF Jaremiah Anglin of Lake Wales, FL was offered by Pitt.

RB Reggion Bennett of Trinity Collegiate will sign at 3:00 PM Wednesday. His offers include SC State, Citadel, Miami of Ohio, Army, Holy Cross, Dartmouth, Furman, Charleston Southern, ULM, Austin Peay, Buffalo, where he was once committed, Akron, and Air Force.

Hilton Head DT Chris Marable was offered by Appalachian State.

Northwestern OT Jordan Knox was offered by Coastal Carolina.

Ridge View OT Tray Franklin (6-6 315) said he has made his college decision and will announce Wednesday morning. Franklin said his choice came from USC, which is a PWO offer, and South Carolina State and Virginia, which have made scholarship offers. Also, Greenville High QB Pro Franklin (6-3 190) has made his decision but also will wait until Wednesday for an announcement. His decision came from SC State, Benedict, Fordham, Marshall, UT-Martin and Delaware State.

LB Akhnaton Shabazz (5-11 177) of Kennesaw, GA will join USC as a PWO. He visited for the Auburn game last season.

USC offered SAF Caleb Woodson (6-3 200) of Haymarket, VA. His other offers include Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. He visited Virginia last weekend, and he attended games this past season at NC State, Penn State, Maryland and Virginia Tech.

USC offered 2024 OT Liam Andrews (6-5 270) of Brookline, MA. Rutgers, Penn State, Michigan, Pitt, Maryland, Connecticut, Nebraska, Kentucky and Virginia are some of his other offers.

USC offered 2024 OT Barry Walker (6-6 290) of Cordele, GA. He also has offers from Georgia Tech, Arkansas, FAU, Liberty, Kentucky, Georgia Southern and Michigan State.

USC target TE Connor Cox of Jacksonville visited Vanderbilt last weekend.

USC target RB Treyaun Webb of Jacksonville plans to visit Florida March 3rd.

Clemson target SAF Dakaari Nelson of Selma, AL was offered by UCF.

Clemson target WR Tyler Williams of Lakeland, FL was offered by LSU.

Clemson target ATH Moussa Kane of Blairstown, NJ was offered by Wake Forest.

Clemson target DT Darron Reed of Columbus, GA was offered by the new staff at LSU., just as the previous staff had done.

Sumter DE Monteque Rhames was at NC State Saturday for their junior day.

Wilson DB Andriq Williams committed to Newberry.

Keenan ATH Marquece Williams committed to Catawba.

LB Tory Kelly of Gray Collegiate committed to Wingate.

Dutch Fork WR Nick Sowell (6-5 190) committed to Benedict College.

Beaufort DT Eamon Smalls was offered by Charlotte.

RB Cooper Johns of River Bluff visited Virginia Tech Saturday.
