USC and Ole Miss won’t play this Sunday due to Covid #Gamecocks (Edited)

Destanni Henderson and the Gamecocks won’t face Ole Miss this Sunday due to Covid protocols within the Rebels program

The top-ranked South Carolina women’s basketball team was scheduled to face Ole Miss on Sunday at Colonial Life Arena. However, Covid-19 protocols had other ideas.

According to USC, due to a combination of positive tests, contact tracing, and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Ole Miss program, (this weekend’s) game has been postponed consistent with SEC Covid-19 management requirements. The Rebels have also postponed their SEC opener against Arkansas, which was scheduled for Thursday.

The undefeated Gamecocks (12-0) open Southeastern Conference play on Thursday night at Missouri. Tipoff for the game on the SEC Network is set for 7pm.
