Orlando, FL: All the heavy lifting is done for the Clemson and Iowa State football teams leading up to tomorrow’s Cheez-It Bowl here in Orlando. The teams will stage walk-thru practices today, the Cyclones at Camping World Stadium, the Tigers at their hotel. The final piece of protocol leading up to the kickoff was the traditional head coaches’ press conference held Tuesday morning.
The only bit of hard news coming from the press conference was Clemson coach Dabo Swinney confirming WR EJ Williams is in Covid protocol and will be out tomorrow, and two other players also are out with Covid.
Clemson is a one-point favorite for the 5:45 kickoff.
