Former College of Charleston baseball star Oli Marmol never made it to the Major Leagues as a player, but he made it to The Show thru the coaching ranks, and this week was named the new manager of the St. Louis Cardinals. At 35, the Orlando native is the youngest manager in the Big Leagues, and he takes over one of the most coveted managerial jobs in the game considering the history and tradition of the organization.
Tuesday night, Marmol joined us on SportsTalk to share his thoughts about his promotion from the Cardinals bench coach to leader, and how he plans to handle his new role.
