
With each loss, the pressure mounts on the Clemson coaching staff. In particular, offensive coordinator and play-caller Tony Elliott has developed quite the following of haters. His offense this season has been among the worst in the country. And defensive coordinator Brent Venables isn’t without his critics as his group failed to stop each of the last three opponents from driving long distances on their final possessions.
Both men know their fans are frustrated over the turn of events this season, as are they. Yet, they keep a positive attitude feeling the next game will be the turning point. Monday, Elliott and Venables met with the media for their weekly question and answer sessions.
