Newberry posted a 5-1 record in the spring coming up just short of winning the South Atlantic Conference Championship. The Wolves are planning to make up for that this fall. Most of the starters from the spring return led by dynamic quarterback Dre Harris.
The Wolves will open their season at Barton College September 4th. Their home opener will be the following weekend against North Greenville.
Tuesday night the Palmetto Pigskin Tour made its annual visit with coach Todd Knight. We were also joined by center Alec Blackmon of Newberry and DE Ty Kelly of Camden.
