Over the last two seasons, South Carolina State has been one of the state’s most successful teams. Combining the 2019 fall season with the 2020 spring seasons, the Bulldogs were 11-4. Going into this season, they have won eight of their last ten games. Buddy Pough is State’s all-time winningest coach, and as he enters his 19th season at his alma mater, he has a team that’s favored to win the MEAC.
Monday night, we kicked off the official Palmetto Pigskin Tour for 2021 with a visit to Orangeburg. Coach Pough joined us along with starting offensive guard Jalen Page of Wilson and starting linebacker Jeblonski Green Jr. of Lamar.
