#ACCKickoff: Pittsburgh head coach Pat Narduzzi and players (WR) Jordan Addison, (DE) Deslin Alexandre and QB Kenny Pickett.

Pat Narduzzi has won eight games three times during his tenure as head coach at Pittsburgh

Key Stats on Pittsburgh: 6-5 last year with no bowl appearance. The Panthers will have to improve on offense to have any shot to contend in the Coastal Division. Last season, Pittsburgh fielded the second worst offense in the ACC, generating just 380 yards per game. They were buoyed by the other side of the ball however, as Pitt ranked second to Clemson in total defense.

Head coach Pat Narduzzi is entering his seventh season in the “Steel City”, after serving as a defensive coordinator at both Cincinnati and Michigan State. He’s hoping to break through somewhat of a glass ceiling as he’s had three seasons of eight wins (2015, ’16, ’19), but no better. His 2019 squad ended UCF’s 25-game regular season winning streak with a 35-34 victory over the Knights at home.

Pittsburgh opens the season against UMass on September 4th, before a road trip to Tennessee the following Saturday. The Panthers will host Clemson on Saturday, October 23rd.
