Larry Penley is retiring as the men’s golf coach at Clemson after this season, and he’s hoping to go out with a bang. Monday his Tigers won their 10th ACC title under his direction defeating Florida State with a long birdie putt on the 21st hole. Now the Tigers will move on to the NCAA Tournament where Penley is hopeful of winning a second national championship in the last match of his coaching career.
Tuesday night Penley joined us on SportsTalk to talk about the ACC Championship and what’s ahead next month.
