Like the other 67 teams in the NCAA Tournament, the Clemson coaches and players have been stashed away in an Indianapolis hotel since early this week going thru the protective measures hoping to avoid positive Covid tests. So far, so good, for everyone. The NCAA reported Wednesday all 68 teams at this point are good to go for the tournament which starts with the First Four Thursday night.

Clemson will take on Rutgers late Friday night in a 7-10 matchup in the Midwest Region that figures to be close to the end. Both teams are very good defensively, and each has an individual star, Aamir Simms for for Clemson and Ron Harper Jr. for Rutgers.

Wednesday Clemson coach Brad Brownell and Simms met with the media via Zoom to update life in the tournament thus far.
