
Clemson played its home opener Wednesday night SC State and coach Brad Brownell witnessed the kind of defensive effort he likes from his team in a 75-38 victory. The Tigers held the Bulldogs to just 29% shooting, including 1-14 from three-point rage. Conversely, the Tigers shot 47% and hit 8 threes. Clemson also forced 24 turnovers and converted them to 26 points. In three games the Tigers have forced 65 turnovers.
Fourteen different Tigers played and 12 scored with Hunter Tyson leading the way with 13 points. Freshman Olivier-Maxence Prosper made his first career start and responded with a career high 11 points.
The Tigers are 3-0 and will be off until December 9th when Maryland will visit Littlejohn Coliseum as part of the ACC-Big 10 Challenge.
