Freshman quarterback Luke Doty will draw his second straight start for USC this Saturday night when the Gamecocks close out their season at Kentucky. Doty went the distance against Georgia Saturday night and Bobo said he did some good things in the passing game, but needs to do a better job handling the pressure from the rush. Bobo said receiver Shi Smith remains in concussion protocol, and linebacker Ernest Jone is doubtful with an ankle injury. Defensive end Jordan Burch is questionable and defensive tackle Keir Thomas is doubtful. And Bobo said safety Jaylan Foster has told him he plans to return for next season.
I’m sure the Freshman QB would do a BETTER JOB if he had some BLOCKING up front. I see we still haven’t figured out WHY the opposing teams score so much. That’s called DEFENSE of which we have NONE!!
