The ten game SEC schedule designed for USC this season has presented the Gamecocks ample opportunities for groundbreaking victories. Four of their five opponents thus far were ranked in the preseason. The Gamecocks lost to Tennessee, Florida and LSU and defeated Auburn. This Saturday there’s another shot at a top ten team awaiting the Gamecocks. Texas A&M comes to Columbia ranked 7th this week after starting the preseason ranked 13th. The Aggies are 4-1 with that only loss coming against 2nd ranked Alabama. They have wins over Vanderbilt, Florida, Mississippi State and Arkansas. And USC has never beaten A&M in six tries. Wednesday several Gamecocks talked with the media via Zoom about what they worked on during the off-week and the upcoming battle with the Aggies.
