Brett Harker has been a baseball lifer. From his high school days in Greenville, to his college playing days at the College of Charleston, and most recently as the head coach at Furman, the game has been a major part of his life. Tuesday he felt a pain like no other, like a Roger Clemen’s fastball off the cheek. His program, and the men’s lacrosse program, had been killed by the school’s administration, a move motivated by the Covid-19 pandemic and the future financial stress the school is expecting. Tuesday night Harker joined us on SportsTalk.
