
The South Carolina Shrine Bowl roster had some unexpected scratches when QB Cutter Woods, WR Jayden Sellers and WR Malik Cook, all USC signees, opted out of the game to join the Gamecocks bowl practices next week according to John Whittle of TheBigSpur. To fill those spots, and one other, the Shrine Bowl has taken four players off the rosters of the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl.
Tuesday night, Scott Earley, Executive Director of the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association, provided the changes to the rosters for the Touchstone Bowl to fill those four spots and other changes since the roster was released in late October.
Ryan Love (going to Shrine Bowl) – Irmo replaced with Robert Stevens – Greenwood
Finley Polk (going to Shrine Bowl) – Northwestern replaced with Brady Albro – Chapin
Jeffrey Ceaser (going to Shrine Bowl) – Manning replaced with Jvonn Edwards – Brookland Cayce
Bam Deweese (going to Shrine Bowl) – Ashley Ridge replaced with Aaron Griffin – River Bluff
Keshon Washington – Summerville replaced with Noah Lucas – Lower Richland
Josiah Dwyer – Marlboro County replaced with Artem Kalinkin – Lexington
Jakarrion Kenan – Marlboro County replaced with Darriel Porcher – Phillip Simmons
JT Lott – Saluda replaced with Jayden Martin – TL Hanna
Derrick Smalls – Battery Creek replaced with Will Virgilio – Oceanside Collegiate
Stephen Collier – River Bluff replaced with DJ Crawford – Stratford
