Clemson completed its final scrimmage of fall camp on Thursday, and Dabo Swinney had much to say about personnel, performance, and preparation going into the season. The Tigers will now begin a normal routine of game prep for the next two weeks in preparation for LSU.

Key Swinney Comments

> It was just okay today. It was probably our worst day of camp.

> There were too many fundamental issues with mistakes revolving around penalties and formational problems.

> DT Vic Burley is back from injury and stood out multiple times.

> No new long-term injuries, but a couple of bumps of bruises with some players.

> WR TJ Moore was not a participant during live periods.

> The quarterbacks were not very good today along with everyone else.

> There was a lack of focus from both sides of the ball.

> The next phase is allowing his players to get their bodies back after a fatigued fall camp.

> The defensive tackle room is a bunch of nobodies. No one has earned anything or the ‘alpha’ role within the room.

> The first group of the offensive line has been pleasing, but we have been playing musical chairs at right guard.

> The arrow is up with the linebacker unit especially with the guys in the room past the top three options.
