The Citadel turned to one of their own in Maurice Drayton in hopes of returning to prominence in football, and Thursday afternoon at Johnson-Hagood Stadium, Drayton received his official welcome home from a packed room of Bulldog supporters. After being introduced by athletics director Mike Capaccio, Drayton spoke eloquently for 15 minutes thanking family, friends, mentors, former coaches and former teammates for the moment.
