STRecruiting: USC MBB forward Elijah Strong reportedly plans to enter the transfer portal

Elijah Strong is the first USC player to announce his intention to transfer

South Carolina forward Elijah Strong, who was fourth on the team in scoring this past season, plans to enter the transfer portal, according to On3’s Jamie Shaw.

Strong spent two seasons at Boston College, where he averaged seven points per game. He committed to USC out of the transfer portal in April of last year. In January, he played his best game of the season away from home against LSU. USC won 78-68, behind a career-high 30 points from Strong.

The transfer portal will officially open on April 7 for a two-week window. Strong is the first player from the Gamecocks to enter.
