Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney has his staff recruiting right up to the end of the recruiting season for 2026. On Sunday, the Tigers offered WR Keil McGriff (5-10 170) of Gainesville, FL, following a weekend visit, and on Tuesday afternoon, McGriff announced a commitment to the Tigers. He will sign on Wednesday.
McGriff has strong genes as a wide receiver. His father is former Florida All-American and NFL receiver Travis McGriff.
The younger McGriff missed all of his senior season in high school due to an ankle injury he sustained last season. He had hoped to be able to rejoin his team about a month into the season, but the ankle was not fully recovered, and he was ruled out for the rest of the season.
Clemson had been recruiting McGriff all along, and Swinney stayed with him even after the injury that scared away other programs, like Florida and Georgia. He will now reward Swinney with a signed LOI on Wednesday at 3:15 PM at his school. He will be the 22nd high school signee for the class, and the fifth wide receiver.
As a junior, McGriff had 44 catches for 737 yards and six touchdowns.
