STRecruiting Notebook 2-3: Apparent last 2026 target on the board for USC picks another SEC program; Florida DE sets official visit with Clemson

South Carolina, along with three other SEC programs, made a late run at OL Adrian Lamb of Beaufort and Georgia Military JC. Lamb, who is the nephew of former Gamecock star defensive end Devin Taylor, made official visits in January to USC, Alabama, Auburn, and LSU. Lane Kiffin at LSU got the final in-person contact, and he was the last to offer. That visit won over Lamb, and he announced a commitment to the Tigers on Monday night.

South Carolina offered RB Micah Rhodes (5-11 187) of Spring, TX He is committed to Oklahoma.

DE Santana Harvey of Lakeland, FL has set an official visit to Clemson for May 29th.

WR Elias Pearl (5-11 180) of Port Charlotte, FL, visited Clemson last week. He was at Georgia over the weekend. Last season he had 69 catches for 1,052 yards (school record), and 1,680 all-purpose yards, with 26 touchdowns.

South Pointe DT Seth Tillman was offered by Kansas State.

Steve Wiltfong of Rivals is projecting former Catawba Ridge CB Joshua Dobson, now of Hough High in Cornelius, NC, to commit to LSU. Dobson visited Baton Rouge over the weekend. He also visited Tennessee. Clemson and South Carolina have also recruited him hard.

South Carolina target DE KJ Green has set an official visit to Miami for May 29th. He also plans to visit in early April.

South Carolina target WR Deshawn Hall of Prattville, AL, was offered by Georgia.

South Carolina target CB Zay Hasan of Raleigh was offered by Michigan.
