Usually when a player announces on social media that he is transferring out of the program, there are thank yous and appreciations extended to the coaching on the way out the door. But that’s not always the case.
Former Clemson running back Keith Adams Jr. on Sunday and Monday posted a series of comments on his social media site that was quite the opposite. Adams, the son of former Clemson star linebacker Keith Adams, expressed his displeasure with how he was used by the Clemson staff, and believes at his next stop he’ll be able to show the Tigers what they missed.
I was not used the right way at my previous school and have proven multiple times that I am worthy to play. I have 1 more year of eligibility and I plan on making a huge impact on wherever I go. I guarantee I’ll be the hardest running back to tackle in college football.

I am not blaming anyone at all. I feel like it is right for me to stand up for myself and not be silent. I’m sure a lot of players go through the same thing. I lead a game in rushing playing less than 5 minutes. I didn’t ask to start, I just wanted to play more. I didn’t get that.

I have shown nothing but respect to all the coaches and I will continue to do that. I love them and they know that. Please stop trying to twist my words against them. I just need new an opportunity to showcase what I can do. Much love and I respect you all regardless of opinion.
