South Carolina now as dates to go along with their SEC opponents they already knew about for the 2026 football season. The SEC Thursday night revealed the conference schedules for its 16 teams as the league adds a ninth conference game beginning next season.
Based on this year’s results, the Gamecocks will have a manageable first four league games, and a challenging final five. They also will play Georgia and Clemson back-to back to close out the regular season.
This will be the second time in the series the Gamecocks and Georgia will have played in the penultimate game of a regular season. In the COVID year of 2020, when the Gamecocks did no play Clemson, they host the Bulldogs on November 28th. This will also be the first time the Gamecocks have ever played Georgia and Clemson in consecutive games in the same season.
