


Chad Simmons of Rivals reported Florida commitment RB Carsyn Baker of Forsyth, GA is expected to take an official visit to South Carolina this weekend. He is coming off an official visit to North Carolina. Georgia Tech has also been pushing for an official visit. The Gamecocks recruited Baker heavily last year and through the end of May when he committed to the Gators. Baker has also taken an official visit to Kentucky this season.
2027 OT Junior Saunders of Woodberry Forest, VA plans to visit South Carolina this Saturday. He was at Virginia Tech last Saturday.
South Carolina makes the cut to 12 with 2027 DT Karlos May of Birmingham. The others are Ohio State, Auburn, Georgia, Florida State, Notre Dame, Missouri, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, Oregon, Alabama and Texas.
2027 WR Jaden Upshaw of Leesburg, GA, who has a South Carolina offer and interest from Clemson, named a top ten of Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M, Miami, Southern Cal, Michigan, Florida State, Florida, Tennessee and Syracuse.
TE Jamel Howse of Newberry committed to Appalachian State. He was once committed to USC.
Wofford SAF CJ Coombes will transfer. He has two years of eligibility remaining. He had 120 tackles with 8 tackles for loss and 2 sacks in 15 games with the Terriers.
Clemson hosted the Indian Land football team on Friday before their win over TL Hanna; the restaurant owned by the father of Warriors DE and Clemson target Michael Foster catered the event.
