The SEC Tuesday continued its drip-drip-drip of football information for its rabid fan base. This time, the league and its TV partners revealed a few more kickoff times, and something new to help the fans plan ahead….TV windows.
Fans now know for those games without times at this point what part of the day they can expect a particular game to kickoff. Those windows are identified as follows:
- Early – Start time between noon and 1 pm ET
- Afternoon – Start time between 3:30 – 4:30 pm ET
- Night – Start time between 6 and 8 pm ET
- Flex – Start time between 3:30 and 8 pm ET
Kick times for USC’s first three games were announced in May. Tuesday it was revealed that the Gamecocks’ game at Alabama October 12th will have a Noon kick, and their home game against Wofford November 23rd will commence at 4:00 PM.
The remaining six games under SEC control fall into one of the four windows. The Clemson game time will be set by the Tigers and the ACC.
