The Clemson men’s basketball roster for next year will look completely different than the team that squared off with Alabama in the “Elite Eight,” and it won’t just be because of graduation. On Friday, reserve forward RJ Godfrey became the third Tiger to put his name in the portal, according to On 3.

Godfrey, who appeared in 69 games in his two seasons at Clemson, joins Josh Beadle and Jack Clark as members of the Tigers who are planning to transfer. For his Clemson career, the Georgia native averaged nearly five points and three rebounds per game while shooting 60% from the floor.
Apparently, something changed for Godfrey, who told TigerNet.com following Clemson’s “Elite Eight” loss to the Crimson Tide, “I really do believe this is not our last time here. We’re gonna be back… I’m just so thankful for these guys, and I can’t wait to get back on the court next year.”
