USC football coach Shane Beamer felt the need Sunday night on his conference call with the media to clarify remarks he made following Saturday’s loss to Florida about the execution of pass pressures by some of his defensive players.
After the game, Beamer was not happy with how some of those assignments were carried out, and he said so without naming a player. Social media reaction included some criticism of Beamer for blaming players.
