USC coach Shane Beamer doesn’t have a game to prepare for this week, so he and his assistants were able to focus on their own players during their three practices of the week. The Gamecocks are 2-3 and coming off a loss to Tennessee, so there’s a lot of room for improvement as they look ahead to the final seven games of the regular season. The Gamecocks will return to action at home against Florida a week from Saturday.
