The USC football team has reached the midway point of spring practice, and it seems like an appropriate time to get a progress report from starting quarterback Spencer Rattler. That’s exactly what happened on Wednesday as Rattler and several of his teammates met with the media to give their thoughts on spring ball. Rattler, for one, says things are going extremely well.
“Being a year into it, I feel like we’re very close as a team,” the Gamecock signal caller revealed. “That’s something Coach Beamer always says: we want to be the closest and most connected team in the country. We’re all jelling more, each and every day.”
The Gamecocks are scheduled to hold their first major scrimmage of the spring on Saturday.
