When Tim Beck was introduced as the fourth head football coach in CCU history, he wasn’t left with a lot of time to cobble together a recruiting class. As a matter of fact, he had less than three weeks to prepare for the early signing day in December. To his credit, Beck and the staff signed six players to the program, but the focus for his first class was always on February.
CCU added six transfers during January before signing thirteen more players on February 1st.
“I love our class,” Beck told the media on Wednesday. “10 of our 25 signees are already here. I’m really excited; we’ve got a good mix of high school players, local players, and transfers. Everything you could ask for in a month’s time.”
Coastal’s incoming class represents ten states and actually boasts an international player. Defensive lineman Farradj Titikpina (6-4 300) from Germany will be making the trip across the pond to “Ball at the Beach.”
