#STRecruiting Notebook 11-3

USC continues to look over the countryside for offensive linemen, and this week the Gamecocks offered 2023 OT Keyshawn Blackstock (6-5 315) of Coffeyville JC, KS and Covington, GA. Blackstock’s performance this season has led to a rise in his recruiting profile, to the point where he has major Power Five offers from coast-to-coast. Some of those include Tennessee, Florida State, Oregon, Illinois, Washington State, Penn State, Auburn, NC State, Florida, Michigan State, Missouri, Oklahoma and Louisville. He has taken an official visit to Illinois and he plans to take one to Penn State. He’s undecided on the other three. He is a December graduate.

One-time Clemson and USC target OL DJ Chester of McDonough, GA committed to LSU Thursday.

OT Devin Vass of Lakeland, FL, who had drawn some recent Clemson interest, committed to Kansas State.

2023 CB Damari Brown of Fort Lauderdale named a final four of Clemson, Alabama, Miami and Florida State. He took an official visit to Clemson in the summer, but the Tigers appear to be filled up at the position. His father played at Miami and the Hurricanes appear to be the favorite.

USC commitment OT Isaiah Jatta was offered by BYU.

USC target CB Tyler Scott was offered by Texas and Arkansas.

Wren SAF Travon West committed to Wake Forest Sunday.

Texas coach Chris Beard was at Lexington Wednesday to visit with 2024 6-4 Cam Scott.

5-7 MiLaysia Fulwiley of Keenan plans to announce and sign on November 10th, the second day of the early signing period, according to Lou Bezjak of The State. Last season she averaged 30 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists per game and has scored over 2000 points in her career.
