USC is set to host one of their top remaining targets for the 2023 class Saturday in TE/DE Nyckoles Harbor (6-5 225) of Washington, DC. Harbor is scheduled for an official visit to Michigan next weekend and is also looking at an official visit to LSU in October. Harbor has made a pair of unofficial visits to USC, the last one coming the end of July. He also has Southern Cal, Miami, Maryland and Georgia on his short list. Harbor is also an elite sprinter and track programs will play a major role in his ultimate decision.
Another top USC target for the 2023 class, CB Chris Peal of Charlotte, will take an official visit to Michigan this weekend.
Top 2024 Clemson and USC target DT Hevin Brown-Shuler (6-4 290) was at Clemson Saturday for the Furman game. Some other top ’24 targets at Clemson Saturday were DE Eddrick Houston (6-3 210) of Buford, GA, LB Sammy Brown of Jefferson, GA, LB Cayden Jones of Arden, NC and CB Kydric Fisher of Jacksonville, AL. Also among the recruits Saturday were 2024 OL/DL Julius Tate of Greenville, 2024 PK Josh Valero of Clinton, TN, 2025 QB Parker Murray of River Bluff and 2026 OL/DL William Chapman of Newnan, GA. 2023 WR/TE J’Arthur Dunn (6-3 190) of LaGrange, GA and 2023 ATH Ryan Coley of Christ Church also were at Clemson Saturday.
Lower Richland WR Nate Branch named a top 4 of Coastal Carolina, Kentucky, Middle Tennessee and East Carolina.
Two sport standout RB and OF Caleb Hampton of Chattanooga announce a decommitment from USC baseball for the 2023 class. Hampton tweeted that he wanted to open up his recruitment for football and baseball.
6-2 Mike Williams of Cumberland, MD took an official visit to Clemson the first weekend of September. He was at DePaul last week and has other official visits set with Syracuse, Wake Forest and LSU. Clemson offered in June.
6-11 Jordan Butler of Christ Church has set an official visit to Missouri for September 16th according to Jamie Shaw of On3. He’s taken an official to USC and also plans to visit Florida State.
2024 6-4 Cam Scott of Lexington has set an official visit to USC for October 22nd. He is also set to visit Florida State October 1st and Tennessee October 15th. He also plans to visit Auburn. Florida State coach Leonard Hamilton was in to watch his practice Friday and USC coach Lamont Paris was in Sunday.
6-4 2024 KJ Greene of Atlanta told Jamie Shaw of On3 he has set an official visit to Georgetown October 13th and plans to set up with Harvard. He also plans to take unofficial visits to USC this weekend, Ole Miss September 24th, Clemson October 1st and Mississippi State October 5th.
