



The veteran leader of the Clemson basketball team is returning for another season. Forward Hunter Tyson Thursday night announced on Twitter he will return to the Tigers by using his Covid year of eligibility. Tyson’s announcement comes two days after starting guard Nick Honor entered the Transfer Portal.

Tyson started a career-best 24 games despite a broken clavicle suffered on February 2nd against Florida State. He returned March 2nd and finished out the season. Tyson averaged a career-high 10 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting a career-high 46.6 percent from the field.
Tyson needs just 29 games played to become the all-time leader in Clemson history. He has played in 106 games.
