Clemson WR Justyn Ross announced on Instagram Thursday afternoon he will not return to school for the 2022 season and instead will move on to the NFL Draft. The announcement was not unexpected as Ross is projected as a high draft pick and has been battling injuries over the last two years. .

Ross spent four seasons at Clemson and finished with 159 catches for 2389 yards and 20 touchdowns. Injuries this season limited him to 10 games and he caught 47 passes for 524 yards and 3 touchdowns. He leaves Clemson ranked 11th all time in receptions, 10th in yards and tied for 5th in touchdowns.

Ross missed all of the 2020 season following surgery that summer for a congenital fusion. His comeback this season led to being one of two players honored with the ACC’s Brian Piccolo Award.
