Aliyah Boston notched another double-double with 18 points & 19 rebounds in the win at LSU (Gamecocks Athletics)

Top-ranked USC trailed #13 LSU by 11 points midway thru the second quarter, but the Gamecocks caught up in the third quarter, and built enough of a working margin in the fourth quarter to get out of Baton Rouge with a 66-60 victory. It’s the Gamecocks 13th straight win over the Tigers, and it ends a 13-game winning streak for LSU.

Aliyah Boston had a monster game, here eighth straight double-double with 19 points and 18 rebounds. Zia Cooke added 17 points and Destanni Henderson 16. USC outscored LSU from the line 18-3, and it could have been much worse because they missed 14 free throws.

The Gamecocks improved to 14-1 overall and 2-1 in the SEC. The Tigers dropped to 14-2 and 2-1. USC will return home Sunday to face Kentucky at 1:00 PM.
