#Clemson finishes the season the same way it started, ranked in both polls

After wrapping up the regular season with a big win over USC, Will Shipley and the Clemson Tigers are back in the national polls

Following Saturday’s 30-0 shutout of arch-rival USC on Saturday, the Clemson Tigers are back in the national polls for the first time since “Week #5”. Clemson is 22nd in this week’s Associated Press “Top 25”, while the coaches have the Tigers ranked #24. Georgia remains the consensus number one in both polls, following the Bulldogs throttling of instate rival Georgia Tech on Saturday. After upsetting Ohio State over the weekend, Michigan vaulted to #2 in the AP rankings and third in the coaches poll. Cincinnati, Alabama, and Oklahoma State round out the AP “Top 5”, with Michigan, Cincinnati, and Oklahoma State making up the rest of the coaches “Top 5”.

Finishing up its regular season with a 27-21 overtime victory at South Alabama on Friday, Coastal Carolina (10-2) received votes for the coaches poll, but did not get the same love from the Associated Press.
