#14–Coastal Carolina has won its last three games by a combined total of 164 to 29. However, Las Vegas believes this Wednesday’s road trip to Sun Belt Conference foe Appalachian State will be considerably closer as the Chanticleers have been installed as about a field goal favorite in Boone.

Wednesday’s nationally televised kickoff at 7:30pm on ESPN2 will be the eighth meeting all-time between the two schools with the Mountaineers holding a commanding six games to one lead in the series. Coastal has never won on “The Rock”, with its only victory against ASU coming last year by a final of 34-23 in Conway.

On Monday, CCU head coach Jamey Chadwell met with the media to reflect on Coastal’s open date and to preview the matchup with Appalachian. Chadwell also offered his team’s thoughts and prayers for WPDE-TV Sports Director Brandon Dunn, who is reportedly in the hospital battling Covid-19. Coach Chadwell’s press conference is moderated by CCU Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations, Kevin Davis.
