#Clemson out of AP top 25, #CCU rises to 15th

Voters in the two Sunday polls were not impressed by Clemson’s win over Boston College (Travis Bell/SIDELINE CAROLINA)

Clemson’s free-fall down the AP top 25 poll continued Sunday, all the way out of the ranking, despite a win Saturday over Boston College. The Tigers are out of the AP ranking for the first time since November of 2014. However, the Tigers are 21st in the coaches ranking, down two spots from last week. Coastal Carolina, which is 5-0 going into a Thursday night game at Arkansas State, moved up one spot in each poll to #15.

In the AP ranking, Alabama landed 53 of the 62 first place votes with the other nine going to Georgia. Iowa, Penn State and Cincinnati complete the top five.
