Treshaun Howard

USC is looking at former Western Michigan LB Treshaun Howard (6-1 235) as a potential transfer target. He was the MAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2019. In his career he has 229 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He’s a native of Ann Arbor.

USC is among those listed as having interest in former Alabama and ECU DB Nigel Knott. Knott retired from Alabama for medical reasons in early 2019. He transferred to ECU but did not play this past season. Knott was a highly regarded prospect in high school out of Mississippi.

LB Kolbe Fields (6-1 205) of Metairie, LA remains unsigned. He once was committed to Oklahoma State and most recently to Memphis. USC may be getting more involved with him. In 2019 he had 105 tackles with 10 for loss and 3 interceptions.

USC offered LB Joko Willis (6-3 215) of Independence JC, KS. He’s been committed to Kentucky. He’s a native of LaGrange, GA and redshirted last season at Independence.

One time USC target OL Anthony Belton of GMA committed to NC State.

Former Furman QB Darren Grainger was offered by Georgia State.

USC offered 2022 OG Qae’shon Sapp (6-5 310) of Leesburg, GA, home of Gamecock signee RB Caleb McDowell.

USC offered 2022 ATH Antonio Kite (6-2 180) of Anniston, AL.

USC did not make the short list with WR Keon Coleman. He named Michigan State, Jackson State, Virginia Tech, Southern Cal, Florida A&M, Ole Miss, Grambling and Houston.

Clemson is among the top 10 with 2022 DE Shemar Stewart of Miami. The others are LSU, Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Miami, Georgia, Texas A&M, Penn State and Arizona State.

Carolina Forest WR/QB Kyle Watkins committed to Wofford.

Sumter RB Nathan Harris-Waynick has accepted a PWO offer from USC. In his career with the Gamecocks, Harris-Waynick rushed for 3237 yards and 49 touchdowns.
