#STRecruiting: WR Ahmari Huggins-Bruce commits to #Gamecocks

USC added a second commitment from the Transfer Portal Thursday night when Dillon native Ahmari Huggins-Bruce (5-11 170) announced he will continue his career with the Gamecocks in 2024. Huggins-Bruce spent the last three seasons at Louisville

Huggins-Bruce was a top prospect in the state as a high school senior in 2020 and was selected to the Shrine Bowl. However, he drew lukewarm interest from USC and Clemson at that time and landed at Louisville.

Over his three seasons with the Cardinals, Huggins-Bruce caught 80 passes for 1181 yards and 10 touchdowns. 

Earlier in the day Thursday the Gamecocks gained a commitment from North Carolina Central center Torricelli Simpkins but reportedly lost a commitment from tight end Brady Hunt who is now expected to land at Texas A&M.
