Release from USC:
The Southeastern Conference announced its 30-game baseball schedule for the 2027 season this afternoon (Tuesday, Sept. 8).
The Gamecocks will open the SEC slate at Founders Park with a three-game series against Vanderbilt on March 19-21. Carolina then hits the road Easter weekend, facing Texas in Austin on March 25-27, which is a Thursday-Saturday series. The Gamecocks come back to Columbia to face Florida on April 2-4.
The Garnet and Black has two straight SEC road trips in April, going to Ole Miss (April 9-11) and Alabama (April 16-18). That is followed by a pair of home series against Auburn (April 23-25) and Texas A&M (April 30-May 2).
Carolina faces Kentucky in Lexington on May 7-9 before hosting its final SEC series at Founders Park with a three-game set against Missouri on May 14-16. The SEC and regular-season series finale takes place at Oklahoma on May 20-22 in a Thursday-Saturday series.
The SEC Tournament will take place May 25-30 at the Hoover Met in Hoover, Ala. All 16 teams will play in the single-elimination event.
More SEC weekends could move to Thursday-Saturday due to TV. Those changes will be announced at a later date.
The non-conference portion of the schedule ,as well as game time and television designations, will also be announced at a later date.
Carolina plays the first of four fall games against outside competition on Friday, Oct. 9, against High Point. That game will start at 4 p.m. at Founders Park.
